Lucore Technology is developing a new photonic computing architecture for energy-efficient, ultra-low-latency AI. As we grow, we are looking for a sharp and curious Student Assistant to support our business and project development activities, from funding applications and presentations to research and day-to-day company-building. This is a broad role for someone who enjoys learning quickly, making sense of complex information and turning it into clear, useful output.

The Role

The Role

• Support Lucore’s business and project development activities across funding, presentations, research and company-building tasks.

• Help prepare high-quality grant applications, presentations, project materials and research that support Lucore’s growth.

• Work closely with Lucore’s CEO and Director of AI Applications, while collaborating with technical team members as needed.

• Become a reliable contributor who can independently research unfamiliar topics, structure information and turn team inputs into clear, polished material.

What you bring

What you bring

• Strong analytical, research and communication skills, with the ability to structure complex information clearly and accurately.

• Currently enrolled in a relevant university programme, such as engineering, science, business, economics, innovation or another quantitative or technology-related field.

• Strong written English and confidence working with PowerPoint and Excel; an interest in deep tech, AI, photonics, innovation or startups is valuable.

What you'll work on

What you'll work on

• Support grant and funding applications by researching programmes, gathering inputs, checking requirements and preparing application material.

• Create and polish presentations, pitch decks, posters, company documents and other external-facing materials.

• Conduct market, competitor, customer, technology and funding research and turn findings into concise summaries, tables and slides.

• Support project coordination, meeting preparation, document management, deadlines and other ad hoc business-development and company-building tasks.

Nice to have

• Previous student work, internships or project experience involving research, consulting, innovation, startups, grants or technology.

• Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, collaborative productivity tools and responsible use of AI tools for research, analysis or content development.

• Exposure to deep tech, AI, photonics, engineering, European funding programmes or university innovation environments is a plus, but not required.

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark. Hybrid working arrangement with regular in-person collaboration with the Lucore team.

Employment: Part-time student position
